The first complete rough digipak. The design of the album cover is very fits within the genre that we selected as it includes bright contrasting colours and unusual themes. We decided to focus on the use of art on the digipak as the psychedelic rock albums that we looked at tend not to have photography of the band. The bright upbeat colours contrast with the dark underlying themes of graveyards, skeletons and possible depression. It also has some intertextuality with the tree and the skeleton. The digipak reflects Caravan's In The Land Of Grey And Pink witch uses bright colours to create a fantasy style scene showing run down houses and building but in a stylised landscape that counters the potential dark
themes.
We got peer feedback from a Nikki Letts on her thoughts of the Digipak
